Warnti living water in my country
“This waterhole is called a jila, it is living water, he never runs dry, this one he is in sandhill country, desert
country.”
Jila and Jijli - Jila is the aboriginal name of a permanent waterhole in the desert and jilji refers to the sandhills
surrounding the jila. The sandhills are represented by the lines, the dots are the desert country, and the circle in the
middle is the waterhole.
