Nyirla is My place my country. That’s a good one waterhole. Two rockholes there. Water runs down from top
off hill, from top of rocks, fill him up, big waterhole. Biggest place, biggest rockhole, Nyirla, with trees and rocks
all around. When he is full, all the water runs back the same way. All pouring into that rock hole, and running off
again. Luurn travelled there early days. Living Water. That family rockhole.
Me and Bluey Thomas our country. Grow up together. In sandhill, big tree. We been live there, shade of that tree.
We been camp there, all over. I been born there, and grow up there. Lots of my family been pass away there. My
father, my two uncles when I was a little boy, they been pass away.
Big round waterhole Nyirla. There, big country. We bin play when little kid. When grow up, we bin come here
(Fitzroy Valley). Father bin bring us. My uncle been grew me up here, Fitzroy long time ago. (His name
Nguljyardi) (Algie). Father is Ningulu (name) tall man. Full brother Bluey Thomas.
Willy Kew is Luurn. Nyirla is in my country. My father’s country and my mother’s country. I have two mothers.
