Kaiyaral Kula refers to a rock on the reef filled with rock lobsters. Kaiyaral is plural for Kaiyar and Kula means
rock/stone. The sea and reefs of the Torres Strait are like the classroom for my people. We are seafaring people
and the Kaiyar is a delicacy that has become a world wide industry.
