Ants live and work together just like we do. They all work together for the good of their whole community. By
protecting our community we secure our future and this is our responsibility. Only through self determination will
we keep moving forward together. Self determination is represented by all of the ants in the nest all working and
living together for the good of the community. They all have a role in the smooth and productive existence of
their community. They work together to build a solid future. Our community is represented by the whole picture,
an ant colony. Our future is represented by the eggs in that community and the young that will hatch and become
the keepers of the community and other communities. Our responsibility is represented by the care and attention
the ants show towards the young, each other, and the community as a whole.
