Dorothy Napangardi Robinson Pangurnu 2010
Kiln formed enamelled glass 600 x 200mm with acrylic stand $2200
In the Jukurrpa we used to collect water from that place using a wooden scoop - a bit like a small coolamon - called a pangurnu. We
would carry the water around in the pangurnu. The pangurnu was used for collecting the water in the first place. In the Dreaming, the water
found there was all right to drink, it was find to drink, beautiful water, fresh and clear - not salty like now. - Extract taken from ‘Dancing
up Country’ The art of Dorothy Napangardi
