'Earth Images' depicts William's combined knowledge of the physical terrain and the Dreamtime stories which
relate to it. The series reflects William's love of his native country. These Paintings show a riverbed, creeks and
Aboriginal campsites. The Aboriginal people were nomadic. Their campsites were often temporary. Good
campsites (with plenty of food and water) were often used periodically.
