When the rain would come it always filled the gorge up with water and the river would flow down to the ocean. At
the end of the gorge there was a big hole where all the swordfish would wait for the barramundi. One day a
swordfish and a barramundi had a fight over an octopus. The barramundi put spinifex on his nose and speared the
swordfish. The swordfish got mad and his nose grew long and spikey. That's how come today the swordfish has
spikes on his nose.
