This painting depicts a journey of the Ancestral Budgerigar spirits who travelled from east of Yuendumu across
Central Australia during the Dreamtime world creation period. They performed ceremonies and various other
secret/sacred rituals in which the landscape was created and modified to what it is today. The important
ceremonial sites of the Budgerigar ancestors are depicted by the four circles.
