The story is from Warakurna.
The big kangaroo was chased from the other side of Warburton to Warakurna, and finally they speared and killed him. One
man pulls out the guts and says to other man " get a stick and fill up the hole". The man replies 'no I see the track first you get
somebody else" And he asks another man and he says "I saw him first you get somebody else".
As time goes on they argue as to who will get the stick, the tail starts to grow. It gets larger and larger till it wraps up all the
men and kills them. When they died they turned into Parrots and flew away.
