It is not uncommon to hear the whale songs at night, especially when the air is very still. It is an eerie sound especially when

they are heard at night and a tiny glimpse can be caught under moonlight. It is hard to imagine what it would have been like
for the Oyster Bay Tribe before settlement when whales were in abundance. It is nice to know their numbers are increasing

and hope that my Mikayla will one day hear their songs.
