The artist has painted a fish trap story. The fish trap is a freshwater trap. Traditionally people would make fish
traps from pandanus fibre, laying them in the afternoon and checking them in the morning. Fish would be caught
in the trap overnight. The Manjarbu (fish trap) Djang is the dreaming of a place called Karbarri a large place in
