Munnuwi is some of Ningie's father's and mother's country, south of Balgo in the Great Sandy Desert. Here, there
are found three tjumu, or soakwaters, linked by an intermittent kiliki, or creek. Tali, or sand dunes, dominate the
landscape of the area. This is the country where Ningie lived as a girl and where her aunt and uncle taught her
about hunting.
