Ruby Williamson's first solo exhibition & Art Mob's first woman artist solo exhibition marks the gallery's first anniversary. Ruby works with Minymaku Artists in the community of Amata, South Australia, about 150km south east of Uluru (Ayers Rock). She is a senior law woman living on the Pitjantjatjarra lands. Ruby's skills are based in fostering law and culture, story-telling, hunting, punu - wooden carving, dancing and painting. Ruby has been painting at the arts centre since 2000. Her works on canvas and paper are complemented by a number of works on canvas by her fellow women artists.
