Yaritji began painting in 2001 and is a senior woman in the Amata Community with strong knowledge of law and culture. Yaritji has painted the swamp an area where the women dig holes to encourage the spring water to come to the surface. The circles represent the rock holes, the green leafy areas - the grasses and the large blue leaf-like elements - raindrops.
