Kayleen has depicted the sacred site called Arrapilongu, south of Kirrikurra, where Muliera ceremonies of the
lizard are performed. The male initiates are taught the importance and significance of the lizard and the role of
their ancestors during the world creation ‘Dreamtime’ period. The symbolic designs are representative of body
paint and ground paintings that the men use during the lizard ceremony.
