This painting is about when us kids would go and collect tadpoles from the many puddles around the swamp
Sometimes we collected them to use as bait when we would go fishing.
I wasn’t too keen on collecting the tadpoles because often I was scared of the sound that the large big Growling
frogs (the daddys) would make to hunt us kids away from taking its babies.
