This colourful depiction of the country around Papunya shows the puli (rock hills) that sweep east west across the
landscape forming the West MacDonnell Ranges.
Amongst this stunning desertscape is bush tucker sheltered amongst the rock crevices and water sinks. Growing to the north
and south of the range at Alkipi are the grevillia a hearty desert plant that flowers after good rain.
