Yidumduma Bill Harney - January 2003
Bill Harney is a tribal elder from the Wardaman country - 120km south west of
Katherine in the Northern Territory. This country is known as the Land of the
Lightning Brothers. Bill paints in traditional colours and depicts the Lightning
Brothers along with images from his area. This exhibition is Bill's first
exhibition and Art Mob's first solo exhibition. The show is complemented by 7
works dating back to 1988.
