This is Wikiri out in the Canning Stock Route area. This is the artist’s mother’s country not far from windy corner. During the pujiman (bush) days the artist was travelling up and down the Canning Stock Route. There is a big soak there with a clay pan. There is fresh water in the soak all year round and all the bushes grow right around the soak so you have to dig up the bushes to get out the water. |
