Jane has painted some country close to Balgo. This country is centred around the site of the Wati Kutjarra (two
goanna men) who tavelled extensively throughout the desert. The central U shapes indicate where the Wati
Kutjarra camped and is now the place of two prominent hills. Surrounding the Wati Kutjarra is a hill where
people dig for red ochre and the outer lines are tali (sandhills).
