Eubena Nampitjin Kinyu 2005

Eubena has painted some of her country south west of Balgo. This country is centred around Kunawarritji (Well
33) along the Canning Stock Route. The central circles represent warniri (rockholes). This is the country where
Kinyu the spirit dog lives. Kinyu watches over this country and looks after Eubena when she hunts here. To say
thank you to Kinyu Eubena would often leave gifts of goanna at the warniri. The uppermost circle depicts a sacred
women's place and the surrounding features are tali (sandhills).
