Yulu is some of Ningie's father's and mother's country, south of Balgo in the Great Sandy Desert. This country
takes its name from an important tjurrnu, or soakwater, Yulu. A smaller nearby tjurrnu is also shown, as well as
some rockholes found in some hilly country. Tali, or sand dunes, dominate the landscape of the area. This is the
country where Ningie lived as a girl and hunted with her family.
