Dora has painted with her sister Mona Rockman their communal country and story. The story concerns the
Ngartijirri, the ancestral budgerigar in their traditional country east of Balgo along the top of the Tanami Desert.
The circles are the places Ngartijirri hatch, with the eggs inside, while the cross shapes are the tracks of the birds as
they walk on the ground finding food.
