Tjukurpa/creation stories from in the area of Ramas ngura/birthplace. Kunytanu is the name for large waterhole
where it is told a large Wanampi/rainbow serpent lived. In the story there is a woman who is carrying a baby girl.
She cries out a warning to Kuntjanu that a vast warmala/revenge party is coming from the north west via Uluru and
Kata tjuta. He rises out of the water quickly, but is speared by the many men. The men pull the spears out and
throw them to the ground, and Kunytjanu (who takes his name from the waterhole) falls into the water dead. This
is one stop on the large adventure of the warmala.
